Scanlines

Ok, whenever I play Battlefield 1942 v1.6 or any of the modifications, I get these thick scanlines on the screen, can anyone help me out here?

You may not see the scanlines on the screenshot, but I have them in the game.

Bump. Also, the text in the game is blurry.

Does your monitor support 200hz?

Only up to 85, so what do you all reccommend doing?

Use the same refresh rate that your moniter is using.
Also ingame font sucks and will always be blury.

Do you have a second moniter close to the one you are using?

You can damage your monitor by long time use over the maxium rez it can handle.

The problem was my ATi Catalyst 5.6 drivers. Got the new 5.7 and it's fixed.
Please, add this to a "known bugs" section or something, help the fella's out.
