TC server warming party

Hi guys,

Im from TC and we have a new server. To celebrate we are going to have a....

Server Warming Party
This will be on the 9th of january and everyone is invited

Our new server will be a 32 player server running BF42 24/7. We are trying to make this server somewhere for the BF community to have fun on so we will be open to any suggestion on the maplists, server settings or anything else concerning the server.

This party will basically an opportunity for the amazing BF community to let its hair down and have some fun. We will keep the server admins as much as possibe to keep things light hearted and avoid rapers and TKers spoiling the fun. We will provide 2 servers (64 games tend to be laggy and unwieldy in BF). One server wil be specifically for those who like a game with planes involved and will feature the more plane dominated maps (gazala, el al etc.) The other will be for those who feel planes arent something they want to deal with and will be the ground only or mainly ground maps.

We shall have public TS divided into enough rooms for all the different servers, to allow people to get the most out of the evening, a mic is not necessary, you can still join in the silliness in the ingame chat.

Our BF server IPs are: 82.136.28.69:14567
And: 82.136.28.69: 82.136.28.69:14568
and our TS IP is: 82.136.28.69:8767

We want to set the server up with as popular settings as possible. Our current maplist for the flyboy server is:
Gazala
El Al
Market Garden
Battleaxe
Bocage
Kursk
Midway

And for the ground hog's server is:
Berlin
Tobruk
Aberdeen
Stalingrad
Battle of the Bulge
Kharkov
Wake
Cean

We will run 30 minute rounds, 2 rounds per map.

These settings are subject to change. If you feel a map has been missed or is on the wrong server or you dont like the time settings just come to our Site and post in our Server Issues forum. Or drop by our IRC chan. #tc42 on Quakenet. Please make suggestions about the settings for the night, we would love to hear from you.

To call an admin while ingame just look for players with a [TC|] Tag or join #tc42 on Quakenet. Baseraping/Runway straffing are forbidden as is TKing. Warnings will be issued before kicks.

The server normally runs the full BF maplist bar coral sea and battle of britain and at 32 players so feel free to join any time. But this is open to discussion so again just post on our forums for maps you would like to see on or off the maplist.

Also an update, it was requested that rather than running 2 30 minute rounds per map we did 1 40 minute round, this change has been implemented.
