Default Can somebody please look up a file and tell me the size???

I was having problems installing my Battlefield 1942, it keeps telling me that there is a problem with the Tobruk.rfa file off disc 2. I ignore the warning and install everything. But there IS a Tobruk.rfa file that gets installed on my computer!!! Can somebody please look up their Tobruk.rfa file and tell me the size in MB and actual bytes (right-click file > properties...the files should be in your cProgram Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Archives\bf1942\levels\ folder). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! And thanks very much!!!

My file comes up as 32.8 MB (34,461,708 bytes). I'm just wondering if that is the right size for the file before I have my game crash on that level. THANKS MUCH!!!

Are you having problems finding it on Kazza? Why dould your cd not have the complete file size, mine does and I sure haven't ever read a similar thing here. I found buying the cd was the easiest, good luck.

Dude, I think its BS. How would his CD not have the correct file???? I've not seen this before. One CD in the whole production run???? Think about that. I call bs as he needed the file size to make sure when he goes to look for it again. I did read all the posts.

I wouldn't bother to post on a thread if the cd was junk. I'd return it, pissed off I might add, and get a replacement. Or at the very least make the store who sold me the item install it to show me that it worked and my comp was the problem.

Nah I call bs.

The CD could have the incorrect file size due to faulty CD media. Especially seeing as the thing comes up with an error on the install that he ignores, signifies that it has read so much of it but then ran into the error and stopped/skipped to the next file.

It may be an idea to learn about computers before you jump to the conclusion that if its broke they got it illegally.

Default back again

I don't care that i downloaded it i mean really why would i care
I've downloaded too much to care

check out this site i completely agree with everything he says+its funny:
http://www.411mania.com/music/column..._id=689&&vo=32

anyway ive been all over the net and couldnt findtobruk.rfa anywhere and if i can't find it it probebly doesn't exist...
overall there are too many copy protections in the 1.31 update
so i'm just going to buy it as soon as i can get enough money ($40for the origional+$20 for the road to rome upgrade)

from what i have been able to play(steal) it looks like its worth its weight in gold

P.S. Im sure there is a site out there that can be used to bypass the protections and get that freekin map but iv'e already wasted too much time on it (goin back to my homework talk to you idiots latter)
