installation troubles! with pic

I allways got these kind of error messages on installation:

"Forgotten Hope 0.6 install 1 of 2 has not been totally installed because of the following reason:

mods\fh\archives\Standardmesh.rfa: This file contains invalid data. (error 21FC)
You will have to run this uttility again to completely install Forgotten Hope 0.6 Install 1 of 2."

Somethimes its on stalingrad.rfa files or another files...

I've downloaded all two files (install 1/2 and 2/2) 5 times from differents places to be sure that there is not corrupted files...

I even reformatted and disconnected the network and direct connect to the internet, turned off firewall, norton the whole explorer! lol.
Any suggestions? please help.

try scaning your system for virus or something that may be corrupting data, has this happend to any other files?

When you re run it should install only the corrupt utilitys and not the whole game....

Seems like you BF folder is corrupted. Delete your whole BF 1942 folder with all settings etc. and then try installing FH 1 then 2 and then the patch 0.61.

But then again you did say your reformated. Then I don´t really have a clue...

Looks like crc errors. Are you overclocking your cpu? One thing that can cause errors like that is if your cooking your processor. Also check how hot its running.

I always have these problems, I found that installing accross my LAN works if it wont install from my HD, transferring the file accross makes it run alittle bit slower

Crazy I know, but it works.

It cant be my HD because you would expect it to be corrupt from the initial download. I download, transfer to other comp and install from there.

I need a new PC
