Mods, game-play and BFV

Just curious what type of player BFV appeals more to. Would seem rather obvius that DC fans should feel more attraced to BFV then realism (and atmosphere) fans.

I picked FH as probably the 2nd most popular Mod for BF 1942, although it gets nowhere near DC regarding popularity. Also FH tends toward realism and atmopheric battles more than any other Mod I have experianced...

Hmmmm...I personally find that I like the mods for '42 better than BFV ATM. I was just messing around with EoD, and IMO, they got the maps closer to reality than BFV; as far as the BG42/FH debate, I like 'em both; they've both got their strong points - and as long as I've got room on my HD, they're both gonna have a spot!

Funny, the only mod I don't play much is DC - not for dislike, but because to me, THAT mod has the greatest lack of balance of anything - game or mod.

JM.02W...and inflation has made that worth .01...

Dick. If it was you, you joined Bg42, and in the first minute... I mean minute complained about how you hated BG42, and FH was better. LOL.. I have owned for how many maps now. Please show me your skillz before you start a thread about mods.

Hasnt Dick played all the Mods? he is the guy always starting these polls about mods and i thought he had played them all, you dont have to be good at the mod to start a poll about mods

I doupt it. Looking at your location you seem to play in the US. I however play in Europe, and normaly only on servers with a ping under 100. Besides that, its pretty hard finding BG42 servers in Europe. Not very many there. (my name might be popular since Max Payne...)

So I think it might not have been me. By the way I only loaded up BG 42 to check the R2R update.

But if your asking my opinin, I don´t hate BG42. After all its for free. However I do think it does play rather a lot like vanilla BF. FH captures the WW2 feeling much better.

And I have played most of the popular Mods out there. But I don´t rember posting so many polls or anything...

He had 20 people in the australia forgotten hope server the other nite.

Oh my what a treat it was. Noone wanted to leave because they knew noone would be playing on a full server for weeks.

Poor Aussies ! FH is pretty popular hear in Europe. We have quite a few 50+ player servers which are mostly populated.
Playing Omaha or Berlin Outskirts with 64 players is sure an experiance you don´t want to miss out on...

i luv the realism on FH, a few people picking bars to chase away the mg42'ers then typing "GO GO, THEYRE DOWN" , great for teamwork

Dam you english. Theres only 1 FH server here. Usually you have to go in there, then leave and watch TV for a while. Its like using bait to trap other players.

Yeah,

But often once someone has joined, you have to keep them entertained untill you have enough players to actualy play.
