Problems installing

Well, I didn't have any problems installing the BF1942 demo, but my friend is.

A few weeks ago we got it, to see if it'd work on our computers, and it worked for both of us. Now, a few days ago, we were gonna play and he said he couldnt find it, as if it was deleted. So he downloaded it again, from 3Dgamers I think ..while installing, it came up with some error, saying how the files were corrupt and to obtain a new version or something. So he got it from EA games ..same thing. Then I told him to delete everything, the folder, everything in the registry. It worked, but then it said "The executable you are trying to install is corrupt. Please obtain a fresh copy" again..

What's going on?

Just buy it. Retail is real cheap now and is patched up to 1.6. The demo is nothing like a totally installed bf42 with 1.6.

Maybe you should read up on some history before you make a claim like that. Or can you read? Such a dumb statement. I have to lock this thread to stop the other Canadians on this board from flaming you to death for lack of knowledge on that subject.
