BF1942 doesn't use my controls!!!

HELP ME!! BF1942 is not using my custom controls. I assigned arrow keys to accelerate my aircraft, but It isn't using the arrow keys. Instead it's using the WSAD keys instead, even though I removed those keys from the controls menu. WHAT THE FREAK!?!!

And everytime I enter an aircraft using the spacebar, my aircraft would fire off short bursts or kill myself. But the space key is not even bined to fire!

Why is BF1942 ignoring my custom controls?!? I just uninstalled, delete BF1942 folder and did a clean reinstal!

Where the freak did BF1942 got those keys which I did not bined?!?

Meh. Disregard that. Digital Illusions decided to be idiots and put .con files in "My Documents" folder. Those .con files override my controls in BF1942 directories.

After deleting them, my problems went away. I can now use my keyboard and mouse to fly my aircraft and choppers as smooth as a baby's butt.
