How can I modify the mouse speed/sensitivity to be worth a damn?
Ive moved the slider up and down and it seems to do very little. With my Desktop Mouse Settings almost to make I dont even make a half turn before i gotta pick my mouse up and move it to the otherside of my Everglide GIGANTA Mouse Pad. p.s. Im using a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 and Windows XP. Any suggestions would be great! Chris |

If you changed the parameters for the mouse sensitivity in the <control options> then you should press the "save" button for changes to take effect. (Maybe I'm concluding something that's already been done so forgive me). Personally I've noticed that the sensitivity doesn't really change much at all!

Yeah, thats my point - the sensitivity doesnt hardly change at all. There is VERY little difference between min/max.
There should be a real difference. if you notice in ALL other FPS games you can make it where moving the mouse allows you to at LEAST turn around to face backwards in a mouse movement. As it is, I cant do that - and its pretty damn useful. Ist his a bug or did the developers limit on purpose? This should be fixed somehow. My mouse on my desktop has more speed than it does in game maxed out which isnt cool. |

Odd thing is when I changed it to mega sensitive and clicked "save", the mouse cursor was zipping all over the screen like it was on steroids.
BUT, when I get into a game, it seems it's at "normal" sensitivity, whatever that is.... Bug or not, it's annoying particularly 'cuz I do my flying with the mouse and some axis planes aren't very responsive to begin with... Chef |
