Hi guys,
This may have been gone over before , and I'm sure it has so, please excuse the redundancy of this question. Is there anytype of stats collletor in BF itself, or has one been created for individual use by a single player. I know there's BF STats, and BF Tracker, which are both cool sites, but they are very limited ie. only recording on tracked sites.....etc etc. In our RogueSpear Urban Operations days, we used to use Galleleo Stats colletor. I then posted archives and live stats from this simple little program. What we want to do, is see our individual stats for the night, and compare them. Not that it's a big deal , since I believe any kind of BF stat does'nt show how much you've contributed to the success of a team, but we've been playing together for years now, and were allway able to do so. Anything out there that can do this?....Or is there some sort of logfile inside of BF that I can manipulate into HTML and post on a website? Thanks |

When I was playing C&C:Renegade (quit to play bf1942), we had
a server with its own forum. The forum admin was able to make a tracker just for his server, which I thought was kinda cool. I don't if or why more ppl don't do that with bf1942. |

We have our own dedicated T1, one of "members" owns a buisness where it's nessesity.
Problem is this game is so damn popular, and well running servers are so abundant, we're hardly ever there. It's hard to attract buisness with so much competion so to speak. He (owner of the server/T1 Line) was telling me the server software creates some sort of recording, of certain statistics. But since we're not there often enough it does'nt matter. We hope that will eventually change. I guess i could take screen shots and average in the scores/skill points, and post those. Kind of pain staking, when before It was just the click of a few buttons. I don't have any programming experience, so I can't make one of my own. I'm suprised no one's made one yet. Something that just retrieves the names and scores after every game and logs then onto a file. Then caculates some sort of average skill. Even if it did'nt calculate a skill rating , we could at least see how we did through killls/death ratio. Thanks |

That would be cool. Here's a webpage that was generated by Galleleo's Stats Recorder for RougeSpear UrbanOperations. It had a simple ftp client that would upload the information after every game , and then shut down, to save bandwidth. It even had a place for custom .gif, and an option to set the refresh time. http://members.bellatlantic.net/~vze...LiveStats.html It could also generate a similar page for simple archiving of stats: http://members.bellatlantic.net/~vze...rneyfinal.html The last one would be all I would want. "Live" stats would'nt be entirely nessacary. It had a simple little gui, too : ![]() I have no idea if something like this is a big pain in the arse , but I think it would be cool. The program itself was allways a free utility, and it's written in Delphi 5.0..what ever that is?...I can't find Galleleo (Dallas Shed) anywhere on the web anymore. If you think the utility itself would help you I still have a copy of the installer. I really don't think there's any kind of patend, or copyright on it. So get crackin......plz |
