My contention with MG strength is that at least APC's can survive bouts with planes, actually making it a feasible form of tranportaion on larger levels like El Alamein. A lowered MG strength may not necessarily mean death for a tank, provided you are an engineer, but in an APC you're likely going to burn. I'm a pilot first and foremost and I still strongly favor a higher damage from mobile MGs. What I do not like though is the Coral Sea flak. I mean is it just me or can they now damage you when you are below their sights as if they are shooting through the side railing/plating on the lower deck? Skimming the water to avoid flak no longer works and it seems that no matter how low I get I can still get tagged by a flak gun despite the fact that I'm below the mobility boundaries of the flak barrel.

You know, I just noticed that last night! on coral sea I could always fly very very low near the enemy carriers, and nail the flak gunners 99% of the time. Now, even if I were UNDER the water, I bet you that flak can still get me! No longer can I emply THAT tactic, so now I am forced to fly higher and still die just as much if not more.
