Wrong version messages

Why do I get wrong version message almost every time i load a game on mp bf1942?

Why do people always think error messages have some cryptic hidden meaning? Obviously, you have the wrong version. A multiplayer patch was just released, so go download it. The servers you try to join are running the patch and you aren't.

How do you run the patch and play the game at the same time?

LOL

You have to shut down the game then apply the patch. The patch fixes bugs in the game. They aren't two different applications. Once you run the patch once, then just start the game as normal.

Someone please tell me how the f*ck you play the game with the patch????????When i install the battlefield 1942 mp patch,it uninstalls the game!And a black screen with numbers in the corner come up.Someone PLEASE,HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like you have instqalled the dedicated server patch. You need the mp demo patch. It's named mp_demo_client_patch_1[1].1.zip. Hope this helps.
