Default totally angry. SLOOOOOOW game..

Okay, the specs.

Brand new HP Pavillion a220n

AMD athlon processor w/2.08 ghz
512mb sdram
GeForce 4 MX w/ 64 mb allocated memory

all that good stuff and the usual "beats the hell out of the minimum requirements" jazz.

so tell me why i cant get BF1942 to run halfway normal. game moves frame by frame every 5 seconds at best with lowest graphics settings. same with audio. i just bought the game and threw the reciept away when i read the requirements. 50 bucks is more money than i like to throw away.

well come on, u shouldn't buy hp for desktop u should have build ur own comp its so much better and more reliable. the amd cpu is pretty good but are u sure its sdram? cause i don't believe that hp is still using sdram it should be ddr right now. plus u have to change ur graphic card it sucks. anything that has mx is not that great. but overall it still doesn't make any sense that its lsow

Default gee thanks

hey, thanks for the criticism. anyway, i got it running yesterday. had to close nearly every procedure with the task manager but i got it going smooth. so to answer my own question, it was the memory.
