Here is an interesting question that I've seen asked on a different forum, but never seen the answer to. "if you're in a vehicle and the vehicle is destoyed, do you immediately get killed or do you get ejected from the vehicle?" that's roughly the question if I remember right.

You die immediately of course. Its all due to balance aspects. The infantry is REALLY REALLY weak in BF, you cant walk a few metres without getting killed, so a vehicle is a must have already. But if you shoot a tank with a bazooka, it explodes, and the driver still lives it would be so goddamn unfair for the guy who had all the work destroying the tank...

I sure hope they make the infantry more reliable. Its all fun and games to strafe the ground with your P51 but there has to be someone on the ground to take the flag.

Anyone noticed that a bomb dropped near a jeep will explode the jeep and the people within it. But when a bomb is dropped near infantry at the same or closer distance.. The infantry loses a little bit of HP.

i agree with Maverick, depends on how you use your skills. When playing as a engineer tanks have no to little luck getting me. Same for my bazooka. Hiding is necessary sometimes

Well its kinda weird like on Omaha when the def guns are shooting the beach and a shots lands not far from me all it does it just push me to the side(really far to the side) And i don't lose almost any health. Exept in the unfortunate cases when I fly side ways in the air and can't open a parachute cus im in the air but because I traveled suck a long distance I die from impact

almost... scouts are supposed to kill people with their rifle AFTER they spot for my arty.

and the infantry is perfectly balanced in this game. actually in real life only in the rarest and most incredible circumstances could a grenade to more than scratch the paint on a tank.

This is a judgement call on the driver/pilot. Get the hell out before it blows up. You'll probably die anyway, but there's always a chance.

I've lost count of the amount of times I've seen players jump out of smoking tank get nailed immediately only for an enemy engineer to repair the tank and run off with it.

Even more painful is when players panic when they se an engineer with ex-packs, leap out to try and get him and the engy just says, "Thank You for the Tiger"

If in doubt bite the bullet... its better to die and lose the tank than die and give the tank to the opposition. Actually, forget that as I'm an engy and enjoy armoured free gifts so keep doing it.
