And let's not lose sight of the high kills and caps scores. As long as your ratio of frags to deaths is nice and high, you have not exactly been hurting your team. You have also been eating up the enemy's tickets and removing their spawn points, which results in your team winning eventually. You could go so far as to say that kills are the most important thing, purely from a victory conditions perspective. Not so from a fun and teamwork perspective always though.

Tremendous guide, Karsten. Well written and cogent, the way I like 'em. And I thought I was the only one with decoy mines! Although, I prefer to set expack traps, so that I can decide on whether I want to blow up some pissant in a jeep or that halftrack full of troops.

One more bumb for me, in case someone hasn't seen it. I think it's worth a look.
