Galactic Conquest Problem

I just bought Battlefield 1942 a couple days ago, and it's a sweet ass game. Someone told me about some mods, and i wanted to try Galactic Conquest, cuz i hear it's dope. I have the newest patch for BF, and I downloaded GC, with it's newer "b" patch. When i connect to a server, it loads fine, but right when it's finished loading the map, which was hoth. the screen goes black and the game quits, i tried it a couple times, and it quits everytime. I don't know why this mod isn't working for me....any suggestions?

try reinstalling the mod

Read the readme for the GC .b patch you need to put it in a certain place I dont remember what is said .

you just have to drag the GCMOD folder into the mods dir and say yes to all

i think i have it in the right folder...as of now, all the contents for GC are in this folder...

i guess i'll try reinstalling it....this is gonna suck though, cuz i deleted the installation files for both GC, and the .b patch

try getting they're new .1c patch its to make the mod compatible with 1.45 patch

Hey I got the gc mod last night and it runs but I dont have any of the new maps what did I do wrong. I mean I can play in the old maps and it has the jetti screen but thats stupid. playing in 1948 with a jeddi screen kind of pointless someone tell me what to do
