Default Gamespy Arcade

Me being stupid opted to not install Gamespy arcade when i loaded BF1942. What i wanna know is, is it possible to go back and install it without having to reinstall BF.

I know this is a newbie question but hey, what can yah do ?

yeah dude just go to www.gamespy.com and its like posted EVERYWHERE how to download and install GS. I do not recommend this though because I would be happy to teach you how to use the Ingame browser. Or if you hate that with a burning pashion of a thousand suns, go download all seeing eye, just do a search for it at google. Either of those two options is MUCH better than gamespy.

Hope this helps

I prefer GSA as a server browser for every other game. The ingame browser is sufficient for me in BF1942 though.

Eh... 3DGS seems to remember your filters easier than other options.

Wow. first person I see not having issues with the IGB. hehe. IMO that thing could use work, although I was really happy with what I saw in the Secret Weapons demo (the in-game browser "IGB", I mean). At least there when you press on the "ping" filter, or "map" filter, it actually filters in ascending order instead of the descending order used in regular BF - in other words the fixed (?) IGB sorts pings by lowest to highest as a default instead of highest ping to lowest ping...

Go figure, who the hell would want play on a server with a ping of 9999?

I will admit the IGB sucks more balls than <insert your exgirlfriend's name>, but it does work. It just takes some patience. I haven't gotten to play BF as much as I want to lately because I need to get a 9800 Pro and my current card also sucks more balls than <insert your exgirlfriend's name again>. I don't use ASE and GSA is just a pain in the ass to use with BF so I use the IGB. GameSpy needs to in filters for the mods that they put on FilePlanet into GameSpy Arcade. When they do that, I might use it.
