Remote admin function still not working. Any suggestions?

Ok... I have read the outstanding FAQ on this board and the ReadMe that came with the dedicated server.

I have entered into the console of my server the following:

admin.enableremoteadmin password

Then from my game, I have opened the console and entered:

admin.enableremoteadmin password

There is no feedback when this command is entered (Such as "admin password accepted" or something like that)

I then attempt to enter an admin command in this way:

admin.execremotecommand "admin.banplayer 7"

In this case I wanted to ban player 7. I do get feedback when I execute this command. The console goes to the next line and reads '0'. However, the ban did not occur.

Not sure what I am doing wrong here. I followed the FAQ.. but still no go. I can boot or ban from the server itself, but not as a remote admin.

Any help is appreciated.

I have this same problem. that and the dedicated server freezes up periodically and i have to restart it. anyone?
