Dedicated Server On Crack

Just setup my new dual Xeon 2.6ghz server with 1gig PC-3200 ECC registered ram

I got a fresh install of Win2k Server and BF1942 1.4. Here is what I am getting:

1. Random Crashes then restart to starting map
2. Random Debug Asserstion Error's (now and then)
3. If I stop the dedicated server then try to restart it , it just loops like it crashes then restart, crashes then restarts it never fully loads (after this happens if I remove and reinstall it fixes the problem)

Someone plz help

1. reinstall BF. That usually works.

2. Get in the right forum.

Thank but does little for helping me understand the problem, sorry bout the mispost in the wrong forum it's been a LONG day..

Delete windows, install linux, http://bf1942.lightcubed.com http://linuxiso.org

heh yea I had a Linux box running at work ( I work for an ISP) for a bit but had nothing but problems with it.

But this is my own personal server that my work allows me to keep behind our OC12 and run whatever I want on it.. (heh lucky me)

So did you try reinstalling? Solves like 80% of problems.

Yes I reinstalled BF1942 Dedicated 1.4 , 2 times now.

Yesterday I installed it and it ran fine all night. Today I ahd some minor work todo on the server so I shut down Bf1942, finished my work and tried to restart it and it just looped it would start then crash start then crash in a endless loop so I removed it reinstall it and now it's fine.. It's the weridest thing..
