BF1942 crashes Explorer????

I'm new here and have been playing BF for about 4 months. I've recently come up with a problem that I hope you guys can help me with. When playing online (yes in BF

) after about 3 games (old map finishes, new one loads, same server) Explorer GPFs! I can be running nothing but the game, then bam, Explorer has generated errors and will be shut down. Any of you guys heard of this before? TIA

System Specs:

Athlon XP 2200
512M DDR RAM
GF4 Ti4600 (128M)

If there is any other specs you need let me know.

Might be a windows thing. Run a SFC (hit Windows Key + R then type SFC /scannow on XP) also run chek Disk for starters

Sorry for the delay in replying, but I wanted to make sure. It seems I scared it into submission when I posted this! It hasn't done it again yet. I'll keep playing and see if anything changes. Thanks for the reply though!
