freezing

My game runs fine but when I hit the escape key to disconnect or go to the options screen it takes 20 seconds now. I can't figure out why. I uninstalled everything and re-installed but still the freezing.

After I re-installed I did not have to put in my name or re-configure my joystick.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

bump again....I've reinstalled but still have the same problem....I didn't delete all of the .con files.....is it possible that they could contribute to the freezing?

When you uninstall sometime you have to make sure to go into the EA games folder and delete you;re 1942 folder. Give that a shot

No freezing now that I deleted the EA folder before re-install.
