Default tank and coastal gun range...

can someone whos played the game tell me how far (related to I guess CE) the tanks and artillery shoot? is the bullet drop pretty massive like in CE, or is it more "realistic" -- ie shooting straighter for a longer time. preesh.

The coastal batteries shoot with enormous firepower, so they will reach far without dropping too much. The bazooka's shell falls down much quicker than in CE, same goes for tanks (I think... Jaks?)

Yup, they do. Its nearly impossible to shoot down planes withj the tanks because of that. But if it comes to tank to tank combat its pretty much like CE after you got used to the angle of the shells and the different armor on different parts of the tanks....

Artillery, well i didnt try that. Poons and grey did, but its REALLY complicated. A scout has to mark a point on the map first and tell the guy in the artillary the coordinates..... I dont know if i really like that, but maybe it has a lot of tactical advantages in a clanwar....

In a way I like it. If you learn to use it, it will be one of the most important aspects of a war
Extremly powerfull

So cool!

Clanwars are gonna be so big in this game...
I think, if a clan has some teamplay, and they make use of all bf's possiblities (fleet, planes, etc) they automatically rule.
A not trained clan just can't win then, even if their individuals are better...

thats good that the bazookas drop more-- it makes it so you cant "snipe" with it like you could in CE, and so tanks will actually have a chance to fight back against hidden infantry bc the bazooka guys will have to be pretty close to even hit anything...

man... I want to play clanwars in BF... like DoC said... this game will be one of the best (.. why not THE best) game for clans...

You've got your pilots, navie, and land forces. But I don't think that (like most of the clans now) you have to choose what you play... if you are best in ... ie air go pilot.. but if you like teh water more.. why not go navie...

Most of the clans now open don't give an option to change between..
It's like: I am the leader of this clan.. and you fall under my command.. die for ME! and do as I say... - no option -

i think i might just joina clan just because i want to be in a clan war. im gonna just love this game. the artillery does have to be arced after a while if the target is too far away(saw it on a movie on the official website)as does the bazzoka but i think the bazooka is less prone to go haywire as in mohaa. and spammer dude, thats the second time ive seen you do that.

The8th time for me more or less. :/

Anyway if you have the leaked copy of wake u can try out artelliry for yourself by takign a scout, look at a spot with the binoculars then hop into the cannon. Also a bazooka dude could attack a tank from far away if he compensates for the ark So they are still pretty dangerous.
