Patches?

OK, I just installed the game today. What patches do I need and in what order do I need to download them (if any). I'm also interested in a blood mod...which one would you guys recommend?

Patch 1.4. Blood mods are useless now, and 1.4 adds a sensible amount of blood to the game.

ok go to http://www.fileplanet.com and the 1.4 patch is on the front and type in mercilless and looks for mercilless creations something has a blood patch in it...
