YNGVE GOT REALLY PISSED OFF!

Well folks, now it`s the end of beeing polite, I`m really pissed of the whole 1.4-pach and their creators. The 1.4-pach is so full of bugs that I nearly see them crawling out of my coputer.
I have now spend 6- 7 hours in trying to solve the “throwing to desktop- disease” when trying to conect to Dessert Combat.
I (totally) unninnstalled and reinnstalled BF 1942 twice including all the buggy paches, I did as EA GAMES recomended, to cange the number in the notepad in one of the files, My computer satisfy ALL the demands for the game, I did update my DirectX and probable all the other advices in this forum. But still I got F.......ing thrown out to the F.......ing desktop!!
Dessert Combat was a nice game, I gonna miss it, but I`m sorry to say it, for me it looks like the guys that made the 1.4-pach did it on the kitchen floor. Shame on you!

hehe, yeah sometimes i wanna just fuckin' punt my damn computer out the window. you're playing along enjoying some sweet game time (precious if yer like me) then BAM! hey look i was terrorizing Inshallah now i'm staring at my friggin' desktop...wtf??!!!

i''m resigned to the fact that at least they're trying to mod without an SDK and it's an amazing feat that these mods work at all.
when something new is released for Bf'42 it's bitter sweet 'cause you know your gonna have hell huntin', uninstalling, re-installing...arghhhhh!!!!

Thanks for suport yetix, but sometimes my head is boiling. Soner or later I will cool down. Looks like we are nin the same boat, hehe ;-)

where'd you get DC .38 dload from Mello?
i got mine form edgefiles and it's not corrupted, i think thr culprit
lies in the write in. something is awry there with 1.4.

btw, Inshallah is ok, like a RtR hilly map (Salerno?) with no non-cap flags, but i'd rather not even have it if my game would be more stable.
now i'm gonna go uninstall/re-install for the 4th time this month.

. Well, I will wait for a while, to see if the cooks get rid of the cockroachs from the pach. In the meantime I will play the "good" old orginal multiplayer BF1942. As a dessert, I will play Road To Rome, hehe

Having the same problem guys...

DC doesn't boot at all. Clicking custom game and selecting DC or just connecting to a DC server will boot me to the desktop.

With 1.31 it happened less but the problem was still there. Geez i wish I could find a fix. I like DC more than BF1942.
