This seems to be quite i werid decision on DICE's part. BUt i already thought that you could turn off the ex pack jumping if you turn of splash. I wouldn't want them to take it completely away, becuase the splash adds to the excitement in a battle. I am also one that likes the nade splash, because if a person is close enough to a nade to be thrown, then, effectively, they should be dead. So, this just gives you that extra time to switch back to your assault rifle.

I think the way they have it is fine. They basically already have the on/off option, I think the friendly splash damage does it. Ex-pack jumping is one of those fun little things that keeps this game going, why I have had this game installed for 9 months straight so far. You can play with friendly fire if you want "total" realism. I don't see this happen regularly enough to think it is some kind of problem.

There really isn't any reason for them to be "fixing" things that aren't broken. The gameplay is tried and true, they shouldn't go messing with it. I would think that they would be more worried about all the real bugs that they still haven't manage to fix. Every once in a while when the program starts or when it's loading my speakers scream out the noise of hell itself.

BF is just half a year old and we are moaning about an expansion pack that is due released in over half a year. In this half year pf BF we have reached version 1.31, nearly even 1.4 so in half a year we probably will be around 1.6. Most of the bugs and inbalances will have been fixed by then and probably a few new weapons added aswell.

I hope thell get a good idea to replace it. I was thinking maby If I were to stand on top of a tank and some one blew it up I would fly pretty high but then that doesn't resolve the cool jeep jumps. IM MAD!!!!!!!!!
