I just dont understand it. When I try to install the BF 1942 Patch, It freezes at the loading window. I get an error that says:
An error occured while launching setup
The remote procedure call failed
I just dont understand it. It never used to do this before.
my specs are:
Windows XP Pro
Nvidia RIVA TNT2 Model 64/Model 64 Pro Drivers 44.03
I have a legit copy
Cable internet.
I would really appreciate the help

which patch are you installing? The 1.4 full patch? Or the update from 1.31?

Im not sure whats causing your problem, but you could try using the other version. If you want to you the incremental patch, you'll have to patch to 1.31 and then use it.

I have an update that i think could be my problem. Before i started having this problem, I had the nvidia 44.03 drivers installed. Than i got an error stating that the nvidia drivers had caused myi comp to crash. SO i manually deleted them. Now i have this problem. could there there be a connection.
Thnx in advance

well BF isnt meant to be ran on anything lower than a Geforce 2. And if u can get it it to run on anything lower than that, then its gonna be really shitty.
