Help! My mouse is stuck upon startup.

I click the icon on desktop..it goes through the logos and movie...then my mouse is stuck when its on username clicky thing...What do i do!

This just started happening to me recently, too. Dunno what causes it but I just hit ALT-TAB once and it comes back.

Deleting
\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings\Profile.con
fixed this problem for me on a few different computers.
