WRONG VERSION! WANT TO UPDATE NOW?

I got my BF1942 and downloaded 1.31 patch from official website (tried other ones too). When i go to multiplayer and update i see tons of servers, i know that the ones with Italian flag on it is "Road to Rome" then helmet one is "DesertCombat". I tried to join any servers and it always says WRONG VERSION! WANT TO UPDATE NOW?? when i click yes, it sends me to official website where i got the 1.31 patch. And then the same thing over and over. Please somebody tell me what is going on, because this is very annoying and not fair.

yep, i have the exact same problem, i also tried reinstalling the whole thing, and still nothing happened. Anybody any suggestions? please

Dunno if this will help but try using The All Seeing Eye to find your servers. With it you can filter out RTR servers, DC servers and Reg BF servers. www.udpsoft.com I think(just checked that is the link). It might stop this wanting to change versions, might.

did you install the 1.31. correctly? there should be a 1.31 down on the left hand bottom corner of the menu screen if not then its not installed right.
