Lots of server time outs as of late

Since about last Friday night, 9-29, Bfnation has been "not found" quite a bit.
Usually it's down for hours..then up for a goodly amount of time...then down.

I did a traceroute and it's timing out out at Iweb, Montreal.
Iweb is a hosting server. Is this BFnations server or a bad hop to BFnation?

Anyone else experienced down time to BFN as of the last 4 days?

EDIT: Kook is looking into the problem.

In total there are 41 users online :: 1 Registered and 40 Guests
Most users ever online was 105 on Today 09:11 AM

Lurkers! Checking out the girly thread no doubt..then signing off. Or are stats padded?
It's almost as if an entire wave of young console players just discovered PC multiplayer games?

We have been having lots of problems with server reliability over the last few days.

Most of those users are unfortunately search spiders. Not real people.

I'd like to see that corrected. The last seemingly real legit "most ppl here" was the day
1.3 or 1.4 patch was released....or like that.

These false readings should be filtered out.

This place is still solid..but getting like a wandering orphan in a lot of ways.

Upkeep appreciated...and I bet it's a task. Kook and Mrhahn.

If you can view that page (some forums block users seeing it) then their is an option to filter out search spiders.

Yeah I have dispatched a few notes to our hosting providers and they have installed some software to correct the errors and issues.

I apologize for the lack of uptime as of late, its especially bothersome when we are trying to work on the actual site content an bringing things up to date.

This morning we had a database issue, and as our entire site is database driven, well. Yeah, so that was on our end.

Thankfully though mrhahn resolved the issue and life is good now.
