It should probably go under the "Other" section of the forum, or maybe as a sub catagory under the BF 2 section, since that is where the most recent news goes currently.

http://www.phpbbfetchall.com/ That's it. I know I had a hard time getting it to work, but that was awhile ago. I think this is worth trying out: that way it would be easier to manage the news posters by just creating a News Usergroup and having them the only ones allowed to post a thread in the news forum, but have everyone able to post a reply. Thread name = Headline Post = Content Replys = Comments As far as having different catagories, you might want to look into that. I'm sure there's a way. |

It's definately fine the way it is now. I was just giving some suggestions as to how we can make things better or more efficiant.
Also, I'd like to know what program you guys use for news posting. Looks like a simple, yet complex, type of php scripting. |
