if i start game in RtR

okay if i start the game as either Road to Rome or just plain BF1942

will i be bale to see multiplayer games that are from both versions?

Yes, just be sure your filters are setup to allow seeing both. R2R will have a funny colored circle next to them. Vanilla BF will have nothing if memory serves.
