Default The future of BF expansions.

now that there has been 2 sub par ex packs for bf do you think that EA are going to turn BF into the cash cow that the sims is. will there be a unbearable stream or second rate ex pack before BF:V is released or will they call it a day and work harder on patches and BF:V. what do you think.

Yeah, I think Secret Weapons was the last official expansion pack. DICE will now focus their efforts on BF: Vietnam.

Im not realy to dissapointed about this. Because even if te ex. packs sold extremly well (especially SW) I didn“t like either of them that much...

road to rome was crappy, but almost worth it.

i liked the level... argh its been so long... with the italian medium bomber and the def gun and the battleship... on the beach... where you parachute down... umm... yeah...

i loved to sit in the defgun and fuck over all the tanks and jeeps coming up the hill when i was italian, and i loved nading the italian out post as i parachuted down as allied. fun level, in my opinion.

just bought road to rome... i think the maps are good and it's a solid expansion. But really not worth $20

I agree that BF 1942 is done... anything new will be in the hands of the creative mod developers. I still hope EA/DICE will release another patch that includes a new map and weapons, but who knows
