"SECRET WEAPONS", not "SPECIAL"

it's SECRET, guys, wont you ever figure it out???

anyway, ive heard some relly bad things about this ecpansion pack, some people just calld it a mod, but it is much better than that. i have played it for a few hours and it is REALLY fun. the tanks, the planes, the guns, verything is very very cool. i love how my things have thier own specil abilities- the goblin rapes planes- the natter demolishes tanks the germn stealth figher is a great mix between the two, and that c-47 is awesome! ever been running to get to a tank when 10 people parachute around you? hehehe!

they did a gret job with this expansionpack!!! and i commend them. i have only found minor problems with the game, such as....

hmm....

lemme think...

oh yeah! the rockets on the sherman do not go fast enough, and the spawing is to scattred around the bases.

It's great. I can play for hours with just the bots (but it seems that the bots are sometimes smarter than humans) the 2 problems i have with the expansion however - are that the fuel runs out alot faster in multiplayer than singleplayer - i practiced with the jetpack/natter/wasserfall with the bots then the first time i jumped in multiplayer i was outta fuel in less than 3 seconds compared to my normal 30 secs ...

the second problem i have are with the so called "one shot kill knives" -- hmmmm it takes me more than 3 shots to the spine with a knife to kill someone - i threw 1 at a standing sniper and saw him flinch and heard "ow" and watched him move , did it a second time and he flinched "ow"'d and moved .. did it a third time same thing - finally i pulled out my mp40 and finished him off.

Oh forgot to add

for those who say they arnt buying Secret Weapons because its unrealistic .. but they play Desert Fagb....... err i mean Combat - they deserve to be laughed at .... Whens the last time you saw an Iraqi steal an apache and blow up an entire US fleet of tanks - while his buddy in a stolen A-10 (with no electronics to add to the unrealism) base rapes them??? thats what i thought

When the Hellendoorn Demo big pipe 45/45 servers are up (there are about 4 of them, off and on) they are packed. During the daytime you have to wait to get in.

There's only one fat pipe server at this time running 48/48+ server at 5 AM in the morning Pacific Daylight time. It's full. Packed. Standing room only.

During the day..same.

I played the BF'42 demo last year and wasn't impressed by it one bit, so I went back to playing UT1/2. A few weeks ago a couple of buddies talked me into giving the SW demo a go.

What can I say, I loved it so much I went out and bought BF'42, RtR, SW & a new analogue gamepad just for flying. No other game has kept me away from UT2 for so long.

allthough SW isnt realistic its fun, and thats all that counts, allso those knifes arnt 1 shot kill, dont know why but they dont, they are only 1 shot kill to the head and thats it.

yea they did lie about the 1 shot kill things - in single player one time i was mad that they werent one shot kill - so i threw a knife at the torso of a teamate of mine who had just spawned (so he had 100% health) and he died!!! WTF ... guess its only 1 shot kill if theyre on your team

Very active?

I've been waiting to see if enough ppl join the SW map servers before I
buy it.

Yeah, I know that now, lol. It's not too bad though, I can dogfight, make strafing/bombing runs, etc. The throttle does suck though, I really could do with a better control as I seem to be doing everything at full speed. I just need to convince the missus of the educational benefits a Sidewinder or Fox2pro joystick would bring to the kids.

When playing with a few buddies, we often have to queue to get into the same server, so, yeah it's quite busy.

the fuel doesnt actually run out faster: the bar goes away and the fire goes with it, but ou can still fly normally, only prob is no warining....when you start tyo go up les i giess thats teh que to jump!
