Can the 1.45 patch be used in BF

I saw the following in the SW demo:

For reference, if you apply the 1.45 patch to an installation of
Battlefield 1942 that has not been previously played, the keys are
setup by default as follows

Does this mean that somehow the 1.45 patch can be applied to regular BF1942?

If so, how is it done?

hehe... the patchs is not out to the public yet. it's only included in the SW demo.
