Alls i have to say is ... WOOOOOOW!

i loved it... ill end up buying it when it comes out..

my greatest moment so far was using the jet pack to jump over a jeep and destroy it with mp40

u now actually have a chance of jumping over a jeep if you have the jet pack on.

My impressions:

*rocking hand back and forth* Nya, so so. No biggy. I've seen far better stuff from the modding community. The only way I'll get it is if there's a mod that requires it.

I didnt think it was a big deal..Its just regular BF which some added textures and some modified vehicles.

I wasnt astonished by it at all. Uninstalled it already :P

I think most people like it for the jet pack, I'm stickin to desert combat

I like it. Its lots of fun and I like this map too. I love storming the center so ppl cant get their beloved jet packs

And i dont know if i should buy this, i bought RtR, it was fun, but now there isnt any RtR Server out there anymore. But on the otherside, im a BF addicted nut, so maybe i will still buy it....

Oh, and this standalone demo will get another load of new players to buy themselves BF1942 + the Addon (I bet there ll be such a pack), so be ready for another wave of n00bnees on the servers in near future.

say what you like but this is fun as hell,

I blasted a motorcyle with some burst for my mp40 while in air ala jetpack. what a thril! The german jet is who do you say, sucky.

I mean you can't control the speed really and a minute of fuel? its ok if you hold the s key the entire time! You should be able to resupply fuel like ammo.

Secret Weapons demo = nothing special.

Map: Boooooring!!! I've seen way better maps than the one in the demo. This from the same people who made Battle of Britain? C'MON! Where's the sense of adventure in this map? Everything is so "politically correct", "even-steven", "any-way-you-slice-it-it's-the-same" .....

Gameplay: I was expecting some objective in this map (like in Battle of Britain). Wasn't that what EA/DICE were supposed to focus on in this expansion pack?

Weapons: The new weapons are not any better than the old ones - except for the sniper rifle (German). Jetpack? sheesh

. although it's different than I imagined it would be. that rocket-plane is just silly.... there's not even enough room on the map to fly in a straight line for over 4 seconds!!!!!! Yeah, imagine that.

It's nothing special and not worth getting if this turns out to be a second Roat to Rome. I was really hyped when I bought Road to Rome. Baloney. A lot can be construed by using a few "intentioned words" like "new weapons" or "new maps".

Intially I wasn't too crazy about the idea of prototype weapons and vehicles being introduced to BF that never saw the light of day during WWII . But after I played the demo for awhile I realized since its new, different and the genre hasn't been changed I came to the conclusion its pretty hard to seriously fuck up this game.

I think EA made that to fit the taste of the masses, specially the people who never have played BF before.

I think it was ok, I just don't like the map, and there are no sound options. So when ever someone speaks it comes out in a high pitched voice that i cant fix. Any help on how to fix it?

they need to make the map better and bigger or slow the rocket plane and figher down there's not even enough room to use them effectivly all you can do is go straight turn around go straight turn around.... :/ but everything else is
