Booster pack doesn't work
I have BF2 Installed and updated to the new patch available. Then I installed the booster pack, but when I try to connect to a server with a booster pack map it tells me to buy the thing. And why is there a CD key on the back of the manual, it didn't even ask me for a CD key?
So it won't let me load any booster pack maps or anything, it's telling me to buy it. Anyone have any ideas? |

You have to register with EA.com by creating an account if you haven't already done so on the website. Since the booster packs were primarily a direct-to-drive download, the download program would normally take care of the registration issue; but if you bought the CD(s) then you were require to register anew at the EA.com website. It's dumb, I know, but it did the trick for me. It should ask you for your registration ID when you install the game.
You might try searching the EA BF2 forums for more info as well. I remember there were about 6-8 threads with similar problems.

Dude the registration stuff doesn't work i registered it and i go to play the maps and it still comes up with the same message i can play Special forces but not the other two anyone got any suggestions?
