Standing on a Parachute

Last night I was playing Warlord and spawned in the paradrop spawn point to help cap the Plaza....

It was the beginning of the game and I took an extra second to join a squad so when I paradropped others had spawned a second in front of me. I always wait a second to open my chute to avoid getting a tk since if you open your chute on top of someone they die (LOL nice EA), and was I surprised to find myself standing on someone elses chute. I must have fallen a few feet and landed on someone that had spawned and immediately opened their chute a moment before I spawned. I was able to walk around a bit on the chute tho I only took a step or so, and when we were over the plaza I jumped and opened my own chute cause I was afraid I would die if I was still on the top of his chute when we landed....

Made me laugh my ass off tho.... this happen to anyone else?

Rare, but it does happen. It is rather comical lol.

lol, I'll have to try that one.

The thing I really dislike about the 'chutes in BF2 compared to '42 is: in '42 when flying, if the guy I was on the tail of bailed out I would turn back and try to nail him with my guns (yeah, I'm ebil :P ), if I missed I could always shred him with my prop blades or slice him in two with my wing. In BF2, if you hit a dude in a 'chute, he survives, your plane explodes, he gets the kill and you get a tk if you have a co-pilot.
