I'm not sure if you are wanting an answer here, but no the russians by themselves are not good. The have the exact same weapons as the MEC in vanilla plus the new gadgets. Just they get a BMP.

The real good classes are the SAS and SEALS. They at least get some new weapons. The game is still fun don't get me wrong. I just wish they made more weapons :/ [/u]
