Yes thats right, in an interview with BF producer Mike Duran, Gamespot clarifies many mysteries about BF2:SF.

Of course it isn't going to suck, I mean GRAPPLE HOOKS! But seriously the expansion looks pretty nice, espcecially the night-shot theme going and I love the look of it already

The night-vision looks nice, but I don't see the big deal about grapple hooks. :/

Wait... I thought this thread said that it might actually be good? NIghtvision? Sounds like there'll have to be night maps.... what if u don't have Nightvision? That would suck. Sounds like a total flop to me.

Still undecided on SF so far. Grappling hooks and zip lines are nice, but why didnt they just have some of that stuff in the first version. Why did they take out the helo zip lines in the first place? Where's the laser sighting for bombs? And like Dan said, what if your kit doesn't have nightvision? These things seem rather limiting for some people who don't want to be spec ops/nightvision kits. It still seems like they are rushing this game/expansion pack out, when they could have just made the first one polished and detailed to begin with. I'm still going to wait on this one...

I agree....I think they just want to beat all the mods.

They said they took out the helo zip lines because noone was using them.

People were just jumping out of helis and using their parashoots.

Dude you hit the friggin nail on the head. Now that the BF editor beta is out lets see what the mod folks come up with. I think the DC mod was beter than ANY expansion EA could have ever made. We will see I guess
