I was hoping they fix a bunch of bf2 stuff before they came with an expansion pack. I don't know if I will pay for an expansion when this stuff probably should have been in the $50 dollar game I JUST BOUGHT.

Just doesn't seem right to me what EA is trying to pull here :/

I don't think the expansion's going to stop them fixing BF2 - hopefully the patches will keep coming until everything's sorted.

Im not going to buy this expansion pack.

It doesnt look all that exciting, and unless 90% of the community follows it i think it will be a flop.

What i dont understand is how they can blatently lie about things like releasing the editor.

They said "full mod support" and that the tools would be available as soon as the game was out. Still waiting. I mean jesus. Valve released the entire SDK before HL2 was out.

GIVE ME FH2.

FH2 looks nice, mainly because I miss BF1942 playing BF2 so much, I'd like some awesome World War 2 once in awhile. I also can't wait for Interstate 2004, it looks so amazing and they've barely started. Interstate for BF1942 was awesome, but this is going to blow me away (especially with how big the maps can get and the graphics)

Thats EA. Make an expansion pack for a game that already needs alot of patching(battlefield 2 is still the best game ever made despite its bugs). Although Special Forces looks awesome I think its kinda a sales pitch if you know what I mean.

I agree on that point.

Not everyone has to agree but imho, BF 2 is right there at the top with other best PC games ever (or say, in the last 3 years...).

If you think about how many games there are, and yet you chose this one, and you still play it day in day out, then you will see how good the game is.

We only complain so much because the game means a lot to us.

If "Terror Assault" (a completely average FPS game, nothing special about it) had bugs like thouchy colision system, slight weapon inbalances etc. nobody would give dogshit about it.

But since BF 2 is so good, we have the luxury of being able to complain about mundane issues...

omg comon, BF2 is a great game but its nowhere near BF1942 1.6, CS 1.6, HL, HL2, Quake 3, RA, UT2K4, etc...

BF2 is great but best game ever made? comon...

I'm grabbing Special forces today, I can hardly wait
Is it true that you get unlocks when you install it??
I've unlocked 3 kits in BF2
I've heard good things about the F2000, and the new sniper rifle. I can't seem to be very accurate with the M95
