The BFPirates team has an update today showing off a variety of small arms.

In Battlefield Pirate 2, there are a wide array of cannons. But today
we shall be mentioning some of them. There are currently three types of
cannons that we wish to show: the 24 Pounder, the 12 pounder, and the
Small Falconet.

The Grenade Launcher is a new weapon carried by the Gunner class. It is
a long range weapon which can be used to bombard enemy camps when
Cannons or Falconets are unavailable. Its low accuracy is made up by
the fact that if there is a direct hit then the scurvy dog is
vanquished!

Finally, we come to the Cutlass which is by far the most important
weapon any Pirate can have. The cutlass is standard for all classes as
it was the primary sword at the time. Not only that, but ye may never
know when ye need to clash with another blade. The Cutlass is made only
of the finest Spanish steel and because of this, it isn't likely for it
to break.
