[Battlefield 2142] 1.20 Beta Patch Released Today

Front-page version: 1.20 Beta Patch Released Today

EA has announced the release of the 1.20 beta patch for release today.

The Beta of the 1.20 Patch will be available for public testing
beginning Friday February 2nd. In this update we have addressed many
issues including:

Fix for Squad Leader Spawn Beacon CTD
Fix for Titan core exploits
Code of conduct enforcement enhancements. Players who are found in
violation of EA/DICE Rules of Combat will have their account banned
Adjusted Static AV cross hair alignment to improve accuracy
Added server side option to disable Titan movement.

Download the Beta and jump into the ranked servers to check out the latest fixes for 2142.

Load up the patch and we'll see you on the battlefield soldiers!

Titan gameplay will still suck with whatever patch.

DICE's new patch will still have onboard Titan battle play lag...not as much.

I play Conquest Maps now. No matter what DICE does...onboard Titan battle is lagged. Conquest mode is quite decent.

Anyone who played BF2 Special OPs knows how bad the play lagged aboard the carrier.
Trust me..it lagged big time.

BF2142 has a new public beta patch out. Titan onboard battle will be as lagged. Only, with the patch...Titan commanders will not be able to lag the game moving the Titan ship.
A no brainer that many BF2142 servers saw from the get go.
umm....yippee for DICE's patch.

BTW...you can gain rank ten times faster in Conqest mode.

Don't get me wrong...I dug Titan play mode. Finally I got tired of the lagged onboard Titan battle play.

Will this patch fix Titan onboard lag play? I truely doubt it. DICE wasn't able to fix BF2 Special OPs map lagged gameplay onboard the carrier.

Insinuwait, it's a good idea to list some links where you can download the patch. Otherwise people have to go searching for it.

Edit: It would also be nice if EA listed some links, rather than just saying it's out and not pointing anywhere to get it. Typical.
