[Battlefield 2] Euro Forces Issues

According to J_Dirt our resident "breaker of all things good", EAUK has posted a note regarding some peoples issues with the EA Downloader/Euro Forces installation. J_Dirt has posted an image of the error message which can be viewed here. While J_Dirt and others are unable to play, reports have floated in of live servers and people already fragging out on new maps such as "Great Wall" in which EU Forces battle against the Chinese.

EAUK_Protagonist has posted a update on the issues. "If you have purchased the Euro Forces expansion via Downloader please be aware that the game is not scheduled to go live until Wednesday morning (9am GMT). While you may be able to purchase the booster ahead of this release time, it will not function as intended until the release time and date. Apologies for any confusion." b/c US is already Euroforceified, UK's EF has not yet been released (apparently)

I'd love to get it and in fact just spent 40 mins trying to buy the fargin thing. I can't even get the ##@$#@#$@ Ea downloader program to download itself so I can download the EU I bought WTF? I just knew I should have just kept my $10

now I got it downloaded and installed yeah!!! oooh then I go to play select a server with one of the eu maps on and I get the message you have to have the eu booster pack installed to play this map, HUH!!!!! I have it installed!!!!! I'd say for people to wait for the eu 1.21111abxyz hotfix patch to come out before buying EU. Maybe by that patch it will actually work.

I'm pissed and want my money back at this point!!!!
