An Internet Explorer exploit has recently surfaced that could potentially lead to your login details being compromised. To ensure that BFNation isn't the cause of anything like that, we've temporarily disabled avatars until phpBB release a patch - hopefully within the next week or two.

More information on the exploit: seclists.org

Update: This problem seems to have been fixed. Avatars are back in fashion!
