Progrmr, I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience to the point that you felt the need to post here, publicly, rather than perhaps visit our forums (the "BF 1942" section if you like) and post your complaint there. I also understand if you didn't know we even had a website to post a complaint on.
Let me tell you, I play on many different servers and, as a rule, do as I'm asked by the admins and if I don't like what I'm told, I leave. The simple motto of "our time, our money, our bandwidth, our rules" can seem rather a "jerk's" way of handling things, but as a group I'm sure (had you given us more time and some respect) you'd have realized we're very fair -- more so than most of our counterparts. And quite honestly, it is our "house". We just want to have a good time and keep things fair. I'm not sure why Rex asked you to switch -- maybe to get all FAST on one team or to even things up -- but I know I've asked my teammates in FAST to keep things (read: teams) even (a daunting task in BF 1942) to the point that I'm sure they're sick of hearing about it from me. And if Rex shot you, it would be to get your attention and no other reason; a minor detail considering FF is off.
We certainly won't curse at you. It's childish and a complete waste of time. We will, however, ask you to occasionally switch teams or cease doing something that isn't conducive to fair gameplay. We're not your random group of "kids" that got together and got a server; we're adults and don't take kindly to disrespect (nor should anybody; the internet and online gaming isn't a license to be disrespectful to others, but I digress). Bottom line is, come back and play again. You got mad, you blew your top, you cursed at my good friend Rex (who, btw, is as fine a human being as I've ever met). It happens. No skin of our backs. Again, hope to see you back at the server, or not. S'up to you.
