There hasn't been a patch in over two years, thats nothing but a rumor. With the release of B2142 that game was over for support.

Plus with the release of Battlefield: Bad Company its reeeeally over.

So don't get your hopes up. A game 3 years old doesn't get support from EA. They have way too many games coming out
