Re: Combat Arms
I'm still wondering in what way Battlefield Heros will derive profit.
It's a free java game. Probably ads, not in game, but everytime you load
the screen to play it.
Being curious, how will this game make it's bread?
Nothing's truely truely for free in the pc gaming world.
After dissapointments like Crysis for $59.99 , and to a degree, COD4 for $49.99,
it seems the industry is sniffing out future Free type online games as the next pot
of gold. College students and others can no longer fork out $59.00 each freaking game.
That link...if it's gonna be a Free Game sure has better looking graphics than Battlefield Heros.
Thanks for the heads up.
It's been 2 weeks now since I signed up for beta Battlefield Heros, to check it out.
Nothing yet from them. I think there is a core of 500 or so doing the preliminary playing.
Then, those that got accepted to play the beta will recieve an email to try it.
EA made it seem like those that got accepted would be playing the game by now. Nope.
