Updated my 1.6.19 patch with the 1.6.1B and it allows me access to a ton more servers but most (including my old standbys) start to load then abruptly stop with an error message saying "cannot access server." What happened?

Also, anybody have any troubleshooting advice on fixing bouncing ping on a fairly powerful system with cable ISP. Frustrating...
