same here. if microsoft really makes vista's requirement that high, they will be choking themselves. xp had a higher requirement but even okay computers can run it. if they suddenly increase hardware requirement like that, no one will be buying it. Dual Core CPU, 1 GB of DDR2 Ram and a 256 MB GPU with a S-ATAII-HD? even in 2006, only a few people will have that kind of comp.
