Lessons learned from Iraqis
While I was in Iraq I learned a good lesson about guerrilas. IED or improvised explosive devices. They take an explosive device and rig it to be used as a command detonated device like the C4 in BF2. They will hide these in piles of trash and so forth alongside roadways. Placing C4 on a rockpile or other "camouflaged" spot can do a real amount of damage. I prefer to set up all of my C4 in a herringbone on alternating sides of the road for a good distance then sit back and wait for a convoy or large group of troops to run by. It works EVERY time. It also helps to be a swuad leader in that kind of situation as your supply drop requests don't always go unnoticed.
But seeing as how most tanks and buggys and AA go barreling down these roads they rarely notice these traps and with well placed C$ in an area I have taken out a tank, buggy and APC all in one shot. It takes some waiting but it's relatively low risk and works extremely well.
