SprintingThe Spec Ops and Sniper kits seem to have a longer sprint then the Engineer or Medic kits (the Assault would be the average I guess). Keep this in mind when attacking far flags. Medics also keep this in mind, you may be able to sprint to get the revivie, but you may not be able to get back to cover.

Squad LeaderYour number one priority as squad leader is to lead. So give orders to your men, like Swelego stated, and stay alive!!! Your men can spawn from your position, so stay alive long enough for them to be effective tools of your leadership. Survival also is a very attractive aspect for prospective squad members. People join your team when you stay alive and they leave when you die too much, so be an effective spawn point and use your added resources to help cap more flags. Flags grey faster when more men are in the vicinity.

Kit Swapping/RevivingIf you see a wounded medic, grab his kit and revive him. It saves your team a ticket and if you were low on ammo, it gives you the added bonus of a new weapon with new ammo. Medics commonly never get to use their rifles, so why don't you? At least until you find another kit you would prefer more.

GrenadesWhat can I say, use them. I have played way too many games where I see a sniper charge through a well defended alley, or corridor, thinking he'll snipe them all with his one shot rifle. Bullet-time is nice but it's in Max Payne, not BF2; so be smart and use your grenades to take out well fortified enemies. Grenades also have an added bonus of distraction against armored vehicles, so chuck a grenade behind the tank, he'll turn his turret and you can stroll up and plant that mine or C4 you've been itching to use since the match started.

FuShe Pass Map Snipers like to hit in the smoke stacks, so be aware infantry. Blowing bridges can also be a very effective tactic on this map for defending your flags. The tank cannot get you if it cannot cross the river.
